Weekly Menu {11/2–11/6}
I remember people saying that falling back for daylight savings time doesn’t mean much when you have kids. I understand that now. Finn woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7am when he usually sleeps until 8 or 8:30am. Ah, parenthood!
Otherwise, this weekend was full of leaf raking and sitting in traffic on our way to Dylan’s grandma’s 92nd birthday party and then rushing home to pass out candy for trick-or-treaters. Oh, and the holiday season is upon us. Have you started any Christmas shopping yet?
Monday—Italian Chicken Salad Sandwiches. I made this once before with pork, and it was so good. I’ve been thinking about it for a while now, so it seems right to make it again.
Tuesday—Potato Soup
Wednesday—Lasagna
Thursday—Leftovers
Friday—We have a few freezer meals; I may choose one of those. I may use up any leftovers we have from the lasagna or soup. I may get takeout. I’m undecided at this point.
