A Picnic at the Lyndale Park Rose Garden
On a beautiful day a couple of weeks ago, Finn and I set out on a stroll. Our destination? The Lyndale Park Rose Garden. I had packed a little picnic for us to enjoy—a bottle for him, some snack items for me. He’s a pretty good date. He snoozed in the stroller on our way there and through the rose garden, but he woke up just in time for our little picnic.
The rose garden isn’t huge, but it is beautiful. It is part of a larger park, and there are two fountains. I really enjoyed the change of scenery from just wandering around the neighborhood. Also, the park is located on the northeast corner of Lake Harriet, so you can always add on a longer walk to the visit.
Here are a few pictures from our visit.
