Cocktail Hour: Peach & Rum Punch
I saw peaches on sale at the grocery store the other day, and I grabbed a few to make a batch of these Peach & Rum Punch cocktails that I came across on One Kings Lane. We modified the recipe just slightly because I forgot to read it ahead of time {story of my life}, so we did not end up steeping our peaches in the rum overnight. I don’t think any harm was done, though.
These would be great for happy hour after work or to sip on the patio with a few friends to send summer off well.
Peach & Rum Punch
Serves 2

1 peach, cut into slices
1 cup cubed ice
4 ounces spiced rum
5 ounces orange juice
3 ounces lime juice
1 ounce honey or 1 teaspoon raw sugar
1/2 ounce grenadine
Directions
In each of the glasses, add a couple of peach slices as well as a couple of ice cubes. Set aside.
Add ice to the cocktail shaker, and then add the rum, orange juice, lime juice, honey, and grenadine. Cover and shake vigorously, then pour the mixture into two serving glasses.
